Preparation: glazed wall tiles & melamine

Preperation: glazed wall tiles & melamine

In the past these surfaces have been notoriously difficulty to paint, but application of paint to these types of surfaces is now very much in demand

  • The surface to be painted must be clean and dry and free from surface contamination. Wash down using sugar soap or a mild detergent
  • Any traces of mould growths in the grout must be treated with a sterilisation wash and any defective grout removed and replaced
  • Apply an appropriate tile and melamine primer followed by the chosen finish
